Veraison

In the warm August days in SonomaCounty, something magical happens in the vineyard: veraison. This marks the point when grapes begin their transformation from green to vibrant hues, signaling the start of the ripening process.

During veraison, the grapes soften and develop their rich colors—reds, purples, and golds, depending on the variety. For our #PinotNoir, this means deepening color and a shift towards that perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, all ready to come together in a bottle.

This is the time of year when anticipation builds for the #harvest, as we eagerly wait for the perfect moment to pick and turn these beautifully ripened grapes into fine wine.
